Understanding Meta Tags
Activating this option adds dedicated meta tags to the head of your document, indicating the publication and modification dates:

<meta property="article:modified_time" content="2023-07-28T12:00:23+00:00">Note. Even if you choose not to activate this option, Google may still display the post date in search results by using other dates from your source code.
